Los Premios Eisner 2026 ya dieron a conocer a todos sus nominados, marcando oficialmente el inicio de una nueva edición de los galardones más prestigiosos de la industria del cómic.

Conocidos frecuentemente como “los Oscar del cómic”, los Eisner Awards reconocen cada año a las mejores obras, autores, artistas y publicaciones del medio a nivel internacional.

La ceremonia se realizará el próximo 24 de julio durante la Comic-Con de San Diego y volverá a reunir a gran parte de la industria en uno de los eventos más importantes del año.

Entre los nombres más destacados aparece el escritor Deniz Camp, quien lideró las nominaciones individuales con cinco menciones gracias a trabajos elogiados como la historia del Detective Marciano con Absolute Martian Manhunter y la saga de Sucesos críticos variados (Assorted Crisis Events).

El escritor James Tynion IV lo siguió con cuatro nominaciones, mientras que autores como Kelly Thompson, Javier Rodriguez, Jesse Lonergan y Linnea Sterte consiguieron tres menciones cada uno.

A nivel editorial, DC Comics dominó buena parte de las nominaciones con 16 menciones directas y otras 10 compartidas.

Dentro de ese grupo destacó especialmente Absolute Martian Manhunter, que consiguió seis nominaciones, además de Absolute Batman, que obtuvo cinco.

Image Comics también tuvo una fuerte presencia con 12 nominaciones directas y nueve compartidas, incluyendo varias para Assorted Crisis Events y The Department of Truth.

Editoriales como Fantagraphics, Abrams, Drawn & Quarterly, Dark Horse, Marvel y VIZ Media también aparecieron entre las editoriales con más obras seleccionadas este año.

Uno de los aspectos más llamativos de la edición 2026 es la enorme diversidad de categorías y estilos reconocidos por los premios.

La lista incluye desde historias de superhéroes y manga hasta novelas gráficas autobiográficas, cómics periodísticos, humorísticos, trabajos académicos y publicaciones digitales.

Entre las categorías más competitivas aparece Mejor Serie Continua, donde competirán las historias de superhéroes con Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman y Storm, además de FML, The Power Fantasy y The Department of Truth.

En Mejor Nueva Serie destacan además títulos como la nueva etapa de Batman, Black Cat, Ghost Pepper y Exquisite Corpses.
